I wasn't born with wings, so I'm trying to make my own

Wednesday, April 02, 2003

So, I just got back from Two Weeks Notice, which I loved except for about the last half hour. It was not my kind of ending. Too sticky sweet (and demeaning to women in my opinion) So, I'll just avoid that soap box for now. Anyway, work is going ok, I still haven't mastered it, but I'm working on it, so we'll see. And I certainly haven't mastered the Sockotta socks, which are still being a pain in my rump. That's all you're going to get from me tonight seeing as how I'm pretty frazzled. I feel like I've been running around non-stop since Monday morning. Tomorrow I'm going to try braving going out to lunch instead of bringing it with me. This makes me nervous because I'm not sure what I want to eat, how much it will cost, how long it will take me to get there, eat, and get back and generally being a big frump because I'm going outside my comfort zone. I'm too young to be a frump! So I'm going to be quite brave tomorrow and venture out into the wide world and like it! Wish me luck :-) Maybe I'll get to do some KIPing. We'll see.
